Iconic Sip Terms & Conditions

1. Booking, Deposits and Bond All bookings require a minimum deposit of 50% (security deposit) to secure the booking, staff, beverages, mobile bar, preparation, and related services for the event.

The deposit is refundable if the event is cancelled up to 21 days prior to the scheduled date. Cancellations within 21 days are not eligible for a refund.

A security deposit is mandatory and can be paid via direct deposit or credit card upon proposal acceptance. If a deposit is not received, Iconic Sip reserves the right to release the date of the event.

A minimum bond of $100 is payable before the event to cover any damages or breakages. The bond, less any applicable charges, will be refunded within 7 days after the event. Clients will be notified of any charges deducted. Bond deductions may include, but are not limited to, broken/lost glassware, additional services, extra guests, and damaged equipment.

2. Changes and Cancellations Once the deposit is paid, guest number reductions of more than 10% are not accepted for bookings over 40 guests. For bookings under 40 guests, reductions in guest numbers are not accepted.

Guest number increases are welcome with at least 10 business days' notice to ensure adequate staffing and supplies.

If the event is cancelled within 10 days of the event, the full remaining balance is payable.

If the cancellation is for reasons beyond the client's control, Iconic Sip may credit the deposit towards a future booking within 6 months.

3. Refund and Credit Policy We do not offer refunds for deposits or full payments except as outlined in Clause 1.

Should a credit be issued, it must be used within 6 months of the original booking date. Iconic Sip reserves the right to refuse a proposed reschedule date if already booked.

4. Final Payment Final payment must be received no less than 14 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed. This includes the total cost of services, parking fees, or other expenses.

5. Payment Methods Payments can be made via direct deposit or credit card. A 1.8% surcharge applies to all credit card payments.

6. Additional Guests A headcount will be conducted during the event. Any unbooked additional guests will be charged from the bond or credit card at a rate that may exceed the original per-person cost.

7. Damages and Breakages Lost or broken glassware will be charged at $5 per glass, unless caused by Iconic Sip staff. Returned glassware after the event will not incur charges.

Any damaged or lost equipment or alcohol (unless caused by Iconic Sip staff) will be charged at a reasonable amount. Clients who recover and return lost items in safe condition will not be charged.

Clients are responsible for protecting their property during setup, service, and pack-down. Iconic Sip is not liable for any damage to countertops, flooring, fixtures, or furnishings.

8. Event Changes and Unforeseen Circumstances If agreed beverages or services are unavailable, Iconic Sip will make suitable substitutions in consultation with the client.

Time extensions are at Iconic Sip's discretion and may require a minimum spend.

9. Attendance and Refunds No refunds will be issued for guest no-shows. Guest numbers can be increased after booking but not decreased.

Late attendees are welcome and may be charged accordingly.

10. Responsible Service of Alcohol Iconic Sip practices Responsible Service of Alcohol and complies with all liquor licensing laws. Service will be refused to:

  • Persons under 18 years old

  • Intoxicated individuals

  • Anyone likely to drive under the influence

Valid ID must be presented upon request.

We do not serve shooters or double spirits unless previously agreed.

11. Security Recommendations We recommend clients consider hiring security for large gatherings.

Booking an event with Iconic Sip constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
